Maybe. I doubt that’s as certain as you’re thinking tho. The SEC is quite a deep conference with lots of talent, not top heavy like you’re thinking . It just so happens the top teams are also tops in the nation every year so it appears that way

Not top heavy like I thought???? The SEC went 0-3 against the Big 12 in bowl games. The Big 12 is supposedly a trash conference. What happened?

Like I have said all along, outside of the few SEC teams that are at the top every year, the rest of the conference is average at best.

Please don't start with the excuses.....every team could have one or more.

EDIT - After all is said and done the SEC will have went 6-8 in bowl games. 3 of those wins belonging to Bama or Georgia and one loss belonging to one of them. That means the rest of the conference was 3-7. It just means more!!!!

The SEC got five more teams in bowls than the Big 12. People like to watch the SEC play and spend money to do it. Also - our two best teams and conference champs are in the CFP playoff, so everyone else moved up two notches. Doesn’t matter, record is record. But if that’s your barometer, wouldn’t OU be better off joining the MAC or one of the other conferences with a better bowl record?

I didn’t sign up for a soccer match. Who can kick the best is not my idea of entertainment.

I’ll be tuning out real soon unless I see some points…

I’d rather watch UT vs Purdue again, even though we lost.

It was a good game.

A lot of crazy stuff has been happening in college football in the last few weeks.  I get the feeling this might be the last NCAA Football championship.  From now on it will be the NIL Football championship,  awarded annually to the highest bidder. ?

Baseball is right up there with watching paint dry.  I used to play it when I was younger but watching it for hours is painful.

I agree! I love going to baseball games, but watching on TV is awful. Same with basketball.

Congratulations to the University of Georgia and all of their fans! Congratulations to the SEC.

Its just boring.  Take a look around the stadium the next time you're at a game.  There's a lot more people NOT paying attention to the actual game than there are people who are actively watching it.  People sit there and socialize, drink $12 beers, and play on their phones.  Plus let's be honest, who has 4 hours of their life to sit and watch an entire baseball game nowadays, 162 times?

Enough baseball bashing though.  This is a college football thread.  I stopped watching it at halftime because it was a soccer match.  Congrats to Bulldog Nation and the SEC for another natty.

If you went to bed early you missed a good game.  That fumble/intentional grounding thing was wild.

There is a TA/FC guy that has my name. It's not me, but it's cool to hear the call - out on tv!

Yeah, I dont see how they possibly could call that a fumble. His arm was clearly going forward.

Modern referees will go above and beyond to make the wrong call
