jdr99a Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 I’ve used an ugly stik tackle backpack with 2 rod holders for the last year and a half with very heavy use. It’s been a good bag but I’m wondering what else is out there. Anyone aware of any other backpacks out there with at least 2 rod holders? Quote
Oklahoma Mike Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 I like these: OSP Rod Holder They are good quality will attach to pretty much any pack or just a belt. Quote
Ole man Fazul Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Take a look at the Okeechobee Fats Tackle Backpack. It has two rod holders. Quote

Aaron_H Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 If you can swallow the price tag, the Plano Atlas would be my top pick. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Plano_Atlas_Tackle_Pack/descpage-PAT.html Quote
TcRoc Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 Been using this for a year less the boxes that come with it. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-FLAM.html?from=basres Quote

schplurg Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 DIY all the way, got a holder on each side ? This actually worked well the one day I did it. Deep pockets! 1 Quote
Super User Deleted account Posted December 23, 2021 Super User Posted December 23, 2021 back pack rod holder PSA: Good way to turn a 1 piece rod into a 2 piece rod. 2 Quote
schplurg Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Yep. One thing I learned about hiking along steep banks is to carry the rods in your "downhill hand", that way when you slip and fall you won't use the hand with the rods in it to break your fall. Quote
ironbjorn Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 I think UPRVR went out of business but in the event that I'm wrong they have great rod caddies. Quote
