What would you recommend for a fluoro line in 20lbs for swimbaits and glide baits up to 4 oz? I haven’t really tried fluoro for fishing but would like to try and which brand of fluoro line would you recommend?

Seaguar Tatsu - or if your pocket isn't that deep, Seaguar InvizX

I don't trust fluoro for my glide baits. I like Berkley BG or P-Line CXX 15# and up. If I was going to use fluoro it would be Sunline as I have found it to be one of the stronger fluoro's available.

Thank you, I’ll check out InvzX

P-Line CXX in 20lb? Would that be too stiff of a line versus 15lb?

Also not a fan of fluoro for glides. Mono or copolymer is more forgiving if you don't tie a perfect knot or backlash on a cast. 20lb Big Game works well for me.

Never used fluro for either baits, in all my years of fishing them, I've always used a high quality mono. I see no benefit in spending more $$ on fluro, even in gin clear water.

My preference is Sunline Defier Armillo Nylon 25 lb / .016D.

I use this line for all my swimbaits from 68 -8” Hudds, 200 S-Wavers,big rats, MS Slammers, 8” Lunker Plunkers, Black Dog wooden shell crackers, Triple Fish, ATB’s etc, etc.

Small diameter line with good knot strength.

This is stuff is amazing.  No issues at all with big baits and haven't lost one yet.

Not sure if I would use FC for Glide baits even though I use it for pretty much everything else.

I also use Sunline Defier Armillo, only in the 17 lb test. My reasoning for going lighter is where I fish mostly, the need for heavier line isn't needed 90 % of the time. But yeah, it's awesome line.

The only floro I use is sunline fc 100 shock leader, 30lb for big baits & 16lb for most everything else.  Otherwise mono treats me better.

I use 20lb Abrazx and Invizx Fluoro
I also use 20-25lb P-Line CXX Copoly

Copoly is a good all around/inexpensive

That’s exactly what I have on my Swimbait setup and would never even think of using anything else.

What ya'll think of using Sunline Defier Amillo in 22lb test? My swimbaits and glides are all in 1+ oz to under 4 oz. I'm just concerned if it will be a still line like P-Line CXX in 20-25lb.

What do you mean by " still line " ? 22 lb Defier will work just fine, for most applications. If in Heavy cover, to go 25lb.

22 lb Armillo is .015D same as 12 lb CXX and will feel very similar regarding memory and casting.
