Anyone have one of these.  Are they all black/gray or do they have a green tint?

It is 2-toned a little bit. They say there's a green tint, but I have a hard time seeing it. To me it just looks like a lighter black/gray. Now maybe in the sun it'd be different, but I've yet to have it outside.

If you're wondering if it's match up with, lets say, a rod with red or blue accents I think it would.

Maybe someone else can weigh in. Everybody sees things a little differently.

Perhaps you could pull the whole outfit together with the right color braid?

The only rod that I have that kind of matches it is the Conquest.

That's because of the greenish guide wraps. Still not a perfect match but decent.

d**n.  I was drinking coffee!  Pffffhhhttt!  It burns.

so funny.  None of my stuff matches.  Not many reels don’t clash with a D-Fury rod.   I came close pairing a Kaden with a Vanford, but the rod didn’t grow on me. :)

If you wear green eyeliner, the green in the reel pops nicely in photos—but only after you dial in your camera settings.

Greenish tint, but dark enough that a black dress or eyeliner won't clash too bad, in case you were wondering ?

Green is ugly.  There are so many great options out there I don't see the point of spending money and putting something together that I don't like the look of.  Was excited about this reel when I saw the first photos, but have since seen some in the sun and there's definitely a green tint.  Pass....

Or mask and hat.

I like the green but do wish it was a little more brilliant or metallic.

At least it's not red like every other reel.

I prefer no color.  Black, silver, gray... etc.  That's why I was so excited about this reel when I first saw it- all black/gray.  Then I saw the light pics with the green... major bummer

I received mine a few days ago, being realistic the color is ugly but it doesn't really matter. however I find it not as robusto as my Curado DC and the spool makes a small noise every rotation. may not matter at all since I have not even spooled it but I'm not totally in love with it. hopefully that changes once spooled and casted.

He is just messing with you. Basically he is asking "Do you want to catch fish or just look good?"

Back in my mountain bike and skiing days we called them posers. The guys that had to have the best skis but stayed on the bunny slopes. Had to have the most expensive mountain bike and rode it it on the street.

There is a third option, looking good while catching fish. :lol-047:

I don't care how I look, but if I'm dropping $200 on a reel it's not going to look like garbage in my eyes, that's all.  I have a few full combos that cost less than that and they catch plenty of fish... not really concerned with what anyone else thinks- I was just having trouble deciphering from the pictures.

Hopefully this helps.

I have 2 of these reels, and the green isn't that noticeable. You def have to hold it in the right light to really make it out. I think this reel looks fantastic, and works just as well.

I've added another image, since I was in my last post

Why couldn't they just make it gray!?  I appreciate the pics though, thanks.
