Kaden and Champ XP are pretty close to the same, and both are well above the Fury.

With the current sale at TW - go with the Champ XP.

I have 4 Fury’s and a Kaden and think the Kaden is way better than the Fury. Nothing against the Fury series but you get what you pay for. Never fished a Champ XP but hear good things about them. Also with the fury line and I believe the Champ line as well, the heavy power rods fish like medium heavy’s. So the 734c would be a good rod for those lines. As for the Kaden they fish a closer to a power above what they are stated as. My Kaden 712s is labeled a medium light but fishes like a medium. Yes it’s weird but they are all good rods. I find the Fury series a little on the heavy side weight wise so that’s my only gripe about them but they are all really balanced and have a good action. Those are the areas Dobyns excels at. I’d go with a Kaden or a Champ XP but you can’t go wrong with a Fury either

I like my champions quite a bit more than my furys.  TW's sale at $188 is a good deal in my opinion.  The 734 is a real pleasure for moving baits, the soft tip keeps the fish pinned, feels closer to a medium than a heavy.  Not my favorite for bottom contact, but definitely serviceable.

With the current sale prices at TW right now, you would benefit from the Kaden or Champion series.  What and how you plan to use the rod will narrow down your search.  If med/hvy is your preference, the 4 powers would be the optimum.  The materials used in those respective series are not the same. The Champion uses a higher modulus material and Fuji Alconite no tangle guides.  The Kaden is fitted with SeaGuide XO series guides.  The XP is a fast action and the Kaden is closer to an extra fast. The Kadens lock up quicker. This is the one factor to really consider.  As is expected both series are nicely balanced rods.  With the XP you pick the handle configuration and with the Kaden you get full rear grip.  If the sixty bucks is not a stressor the Champion XP  734 would be the way to go.

I don't get the shade being thrown on the fury line, they are great rods and aren't too expensive.

Oh, I'm not throwing shade on it - I have 6 Fury's in my lineup now and like them just fine. Just that if you can afford better, get better.
