Smallwater Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 What is a good 8# fluorocarbon line that does well on spinning reels? Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted December 7, 2021 Super User Posted December 7, 2021 I run 8# InvizX on my Pflueger President XT-LE 30 - which is a 2500 size reel. Does fine by me. 1 Quote
jdr99a Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 On my straight fluoro spinning setups I only use Tatsu. Quote

I use invizx on my baitcasters almost exclusively. I find a get fewer issues with tatsu on my spinning reels. Both are fantastic lines so either way you win. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted December 7, 2021 Global Moderator Posted December 7, 2021 I have both Tatsu and Abrasx on spinning reels of mine, all of it is 8lb, it works just fine. Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted December 7, 2021 Super User Posted December 7, 2021 Sunline Sniper is pretty easy to manage on both spinning and baitcasting reels, and is very reasonably priced. 1 Quote
Super User FryDog62 Posted December 7, 2021 Super User Posted December 7, 2021 7 lb Sniper on finesse spinning rigs (for my "clients") and also on my bfs set ups. As long as people close the bail manually on the spinning rigs, the line twist isn't usually too bad. Although after certain people use it for awhile I stretch the line out with a swivel on dry land after a long day on the water. That and a squirt of some KVD keeps it somewhat manageable ~ 1 Quote
