Little over 24 hours left to submit your picks. Who is everyone taking? Going heavy on the Florida and California guys, right?

We are underway in New York. Looks like the boys are already on some good fish too.

It took 22 pounds yesterday to make 30th place... In a smallmouth event... This is unreal.

I think the St Lawrence River now has the title of best smallmouth fishery.  For a few years it was Mille Lacs Lake but I think the Larry has officially surpassed it.  Quite a turnaround for a river that was heavily polluted not that long ago.

All my guys are still in it tomorrow - first time I've had all 5 go to semi-final Saturday.

I really thought I had a good team lined up for this one, but I guess not. Crazy to think that 20-22 pounds in a smallmouth tournament isn't even competitive. Regardless, congrats to Jay Przekurat for racking up 102-9 of all smallmouth and holding off a slugfest of a field. Also interesting point to note, Jay was the youngest angler ever to win an Elite event at 23 years and 26 days old.

We've got 30 days until our next event on Lake Oahe. Not much history on this lake, so it could be anyones game.

They are putting in at a different marina this time too.

Guys were talking that there is no where to get gas, so they wont even be able to make it up to where they were fishing last time.

They fished down by Pierre the only previous event they had on Oahe.  I believe this one is near Mobridge, which is quite a ways north of Pierre.

Friendly reminder. This event is one week away. Time to get serious.

Wait...

We're suppose to be serious about this?

Why wasn't I informed....

What's everyone thinking for this one?

Dunno about the rest of the field, but I can't abandon The Llama-Stache.

He stands a good chance. This will likely be a smallmouth event.

I think he’s sandbagging this season after winning AOY last year.

It’s very likely going to be almost all smallmouth at Oahe. And quite possibly a lot of drop shotting…?
