Just selected my classic team . Three anglers are the top owned in their brackets . One is the second top  then I have one   at two percent .

Man, got my butt kicked on both tourneys.  The only saving grace was the DTL for Harris. Top 100 for Harris.  

 

Now to sharpen up those darts for the Classic.

I have a question. I was going to pick my teams and noticed some anglers not represented and some new names. Do anglers skip tournaments.???? I wouldn't think so but saw some new guys in the E bracket.

The Classic - which is the next tournament - is a whole different animal than the Elites - which is what we have been picking for. Classic includes grandfathered pros who don't fish the Elites anymore, winners of Opens who aren't in the Elites yet, and a couple draws. Quite a few of the Elite guys don't qualify for the Classic for one or more reasons.

i stunk last week. and my dtl picks have been bad both weeks. ive been trying to use up some guys and still score decent. didnt work great. i got a bunch of hammers waiting though.

I apologize for not responding here sooner. I've been out of town on a business trip.

 

Another event is in the books for the 2022 season. Congrats to Buddy Gross for pulling out the win. I don't think many people saw that happening.

 

Our next event is the Classic. So you will see a much smaller field and some names that you don't recognize. Best of luck doing research and making picks. You have a little over 9 days to make your picks currently.

It’s not as easy as it seems, glad @MN Fishercould help ya. I don’t think I did it correctly, I still don’t know how to track results. But I’m retired now haha

My provisional DTL team looking very similar to yours. I’m scared I’m stacking it too much though, but I feel the anglers I have in mind have their best shot of finishing super high at Hartwell.
 

I’d thought it would be hard to pick 80 different anglers but now I feel like I’m leaving some good ones out.

I’m not picking another fantasy team since I’m incapable of understanding it, but I will pick some guys I think will do well at hartwell. And I will be attending the event so maybe I can provide some info on conditions. 
 

-Hard not to bet on Hank cherry

-Ito should be able to catch limits of spots with his finesse skills 

-Scott Martin is pretty good at hartwell

-Buddy Gross because he speaks Appalachian and he’s got momentum

-Jason Christie should get some nice ones shallow

 

wildcards: Canterbury and swindle both very good spotted bass fishermen, and powroznik is due to make some noise sooner or later

Man there are some guys on the list that I've never even heard of.  I realize that its the Classic so technically its not a standard Elite event, but this is REALLY a shot in the dark now.
