I have 3 different Tatulas and all have braid on them. 2 with Power Pro original and one with Spider Wire Smooth braid.

I haven't noticed any grooving on the T-Wing, but I'm not sure if braided line will eventually do any damage to the T-Wing.

Thoughts?

Braid on all my reels but two. Three of my reels are Tatulas and no issues here.

I have og power pro in 40lb and 65lb on my two, and they're doing great.  The connection knot can be a problem though.  I just use a shorter leader.

Braid yes. Leader knots no. I'm a braid to leader guy and I just make sure to use a leader that won't go into the reel.

There were some complaints of braided line groove issue with T-wings, but that's long time ago during the first generation T-wing, when it just came out.  I believe Daiwa solved that issue quickly.

Can’t say I’ve heard of groove issues…but have heard that system is not a fan of connection knots going through it

This is true.

I run straight braid for flipping and frogging on mine with no issues.

I have a dozen T-wing reels of various models. I use braid to leader on most of them. I use 30# PowerPro to 25# Shock Leader with an FG Knot on 2 different setups and have never had a knot hang in the T-wing. None are experiencing braid groove issues. Very pleased with the performance.
