Anything you have in your arsenal that you don't see or hear much about that gets you alot of bites? For me the past few years its been the Mr twister phenom worm. Yeah some guys on here know about it but where I'm from I've never seen anybody throw one..don't think anybody that's asked me about it has even heard of it.

Everyone was throwing these things in the early or mid-90's.....reminds me of how senko's blew up onto the market years ago.  Now you hardly ever hear anyone talking about throwing these things - everyone has moved to flukes.

I throw lots of baits that are not used a lot . Crankin Raps , Fat Raps , Deep Wee Rs , Model a's , Little N's , Jelly worms , Gizits , Long A's , Prop A's ,Pico Pops , large Rebel chugger , Large sized Beetle Spins are just a few . The large Beetle Spins are no longer available but they can be made with any grub one wishes . I got lucky and found some  big yellow Beetles without the spinner at a mom and pop tackle store .

I love the old Beetlespin (regular and large) but they seemed to be the perfect pickerel and small pike magnet.  It seems like every time I tied one on, it got bitten off.  I was literally buying them by the box-full at one time.

Rebel Jumping Minnow.  Easy to walk, great one knocker sound, cast a mile and best of all are inexpensive.  I am surprised I never here them mentioned here.  They were discontinued for a short time, but like the Pop R were brought back due to popular demand.

Johnson Beetle Spin.

I think most people have at least one, but don't fish them enough. Maybe that's because it's a bait that appeals to too many species and isn't bass specific. I use them for LMB, stripers, and crappie.

It's the "Life is like a box of chocolates" bait - you never know what you're going to get.

I have two old baits that don't get much credit these days, the Heddon Tiny Torpedo and the original Rapala minnow.   Both of these baits work best when thrown near cover on light line.  Both work better in clear water.   In all honesty, if you can't catch bass on these baits you should probably take up another hobby.

I just got a couple rapala minnows in my recent TW box...silver black and gold...I'm excited to throw them this spring. I used them back in the day and caught fish but stopped using them for some reason.

I have a bone jumping minnow in my Amazon cart right now. Never tried one but I've seen you mention them several times so I'm gonna try one.

Nebco/Blue Fox Vibrotail Minnow on a jig spinner.  No longer made but sometimes available on the auction site(s).  I'm a big fan of Beetle Spins, but these worked better for me in the SJ County delta system.

Mr Twister Ringworm is my underrated bait. I've fished it on an open jig head, a split shot rig and on a dropshot. I know some guys on here really like Zoom's version.

Single bladed spinnerbaits in general when not used for night-time use. So good on the drop, so good along the bottom. Smaller ones can be really sneaky. This one and several very similar ones took a serious beating this season for me.

LOL!!! Made me think of this gem. I remember seeing these in the department stores when I was a kid.

Try that on a mojo rig next pre-spawn. They’re money.

<- Cordell Big-O.  I don't see a lot of anglers using these anymore, but they still work good.
