I think the bucktail in the red and white one isnt bad, although i like to flair mine out alittle more. I dont know if it makes a difference though. I like tying rabbit zonker trailers personally. You can go single for more of a leach/worm profile or double for a craw. You can palmer a body in as well if you like. Me personally. I go less skirt strands so the hair has more room to undulate. @Smalljaw has a couple nice hybrid jig how to’s if you go to youtube.

Sanding this one down to 1/4oz and switching to a 30 degree hook. Making masters is not my favorite thing to do.

I kept the arm full length on the 1/2 oz with Colorado blade, maybe that will really bring out the vibration.

Got the fishing skirts order today so had to put some skirts together really happy with the lavender ghost minnow skirt, on the top left, way better than I anticipated.

What color is that light purple in the top left corner?

its two tabs of living image ghost minnow and a 1/2 tab of blue lavender 446. If you look up the ghost minnow color on the fishing skirts site you will see the subtle colors. I think it will be a winner in clear water.

They look great and you are well on your way. Be careful with those red skirt collars as the break very easily.

Hopefully they will be ok. I have an older batch of red, white, and black skirt bands from when I first started making skirts. The older black bands all break trying to get them on the skirt tool, the white bands go on fine but are difficult, while the red bands are very elastic just like the new skirt bands I bought. So I really hope that they will be ok.

Finished up the jigheads I was working on and made some chatterbait heads for someone in need.

Poisontail has the worst keeper section IMO.

Hybrid hair jigs and playing with gray marabou and purple flash. Hybrid hair jigs are so fun to make, and they look awesome in the water.

Thanks. This pack of blood quill is excellent quality. As you can see, they are nice, long, full feathers.

I'm palmering some nice maribou as collars for fuzzy fibre bait fish that are 2.5" - 3.5" long.

Made some 1/8 guppy head spins, three on the right. The spin on the left is a Stanley spin and the head looks a lot smaller than the guppy heads, so not sure of the actual weight of the Stanley spin. The skirts are white and burnt orange.
then salsa, white, and burnt orange to imitate perch.
