Looks like a great jighead to me, although i didn’t see how much it weighs on there. The screw lock certainly increases the life of the plastic. I saw Jacob wheeler using a similar jighead recently from vmc mooneye and they were slaying them. The mooneye heads have the aspirin shape head instead of ball head but the screw lock is similar

There's a guy on Facebook named Dion Brewster who makes those and can use whatever hooks you want.

I cannot figure out how to thread a plastic on that thing. I gotta find a video somewhere.

I'm sure it's a good head but I can't stand screw locks. I'd rather much use a traditional keeper with a drop of the right super glue. So if you don't mind screw locks, try them out and let us know how it goes.

Here’s the one I was watching Jacob wheeler hook a storm largo shad onto. Just twist it on righty tighty . Fast forward to about 15:40 mark for rigging

I use some very similar and they work just fine. I do prefer screw locks for a lot of soft plastics because I find that I don’t tear them up quite as fast.

Ah interesting, I got the 1/8th for a good all around shallow water one.
