PressuredFishing Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 I picked some up and was going to ask if anyone likes them, I saw they had a spring lock and thought it may be worth the extra few bucks if it saves money on the soft plastics https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/4x4_Little_Head_Swimbait_Jig_Heads_3pk/descpage-4X4LILH.html Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted November 26, 2021 Global Moderator Posted November 26, 2021 Looks like a great jighead to me, although i didn’t see how much it weighs on there. The screw lock certainly increases the life of the plastic. I saw Jacob wheeler using a similar jighead recently from vmc mooneye and they were slaying them. The mooneye heads have the aspirin shape head instead of ball head but the screw lock is similar Quote
Super User Munkin Posted November 26, 2021 Super User Posted November 26, 2021 There's a guy on Facebook named Dion Brewster who makes those and can use whatever hooks you want. Allen Quote
detroit1 Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 I cannot figure out how to thread a plastic on that thing. I gotta find a video somewhere. Quote
Finessegenics Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 I'm sure it's a good head but I can't stand screw locks. I'd rather much use a traditional keeper with a drop of the right super glue. So if you don't mind screw locks, try them out and let us know how it goes. 2 Quote

detroit1 Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 Thanks for posting Tn, i figured that was how it was done, just seemed a slighter hassle than it was. 1 Quote
Oklahoma Mike Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 I use some very similar and they work just fine. I do prefer screw locks for a lot of soft plastics because I find that I don’t tear them up quite as fast. 1 Quote
