I've been very happy with my Dobyns Fury 705CB for cranks...I normally run lipless and squarebills on a M/F (Fury 703C)

Been very please with this composite stick.

The 7 MH and the 7'4" MH

Quantum sponsored KVD's initial version of this line.

That one's been discontinued.

KVD"S now with Lew's and I'm betting Lew's deal is pretty close to the same thing.

FYI, I do not have the Lew's.

Seconding the Fury 705CB, I use mine for lipless (with braid-to-leader) and I enjoy it very much. Great parabolic bend for keeping the fish pinned and the braid still gives me the ability to pop free of grass even with the moderate action.

Third for the Fury 705CB. Great for squarebills, lipless cranks, etc.

I’m going to suggest you check out the 7’-3” MH moderate Lews TP1X, I have the previous version of this rod and I feel it’s exactly what you’re looking for. It’s 100% graphite with the action of a composite rod. As a bonus it’s only $99.00 retail which I feel is a bargain.

I'd recommend Daiwa's Tatula rods. I have the first gen 7' MH, sturdy yet parabolic, quite sensitive as well if that matters for chatter bait. It's been my dedicated chatterbait rod for awhile now. Although they don't call it moderate fast; they call it "regular" action.

I have the 7'3 MH Black. It has done great for spinnerbaits not sure if it would do well for square bills. Loomis E6x crankbait 7'M has done well for me this year for traps and square bills, plenty of flex to keep them pinned.

Handle is a little shorter than I would prefer but still a good crankbait rod.

I'm using a pair of Powell Diesel Crankbait rods (705CB) these rods this season. I've been using one for crankbaits and another for bladed jigs. I've been really happy with them this season and I would highly recommend them.

I was surprised at the build quality, it is also a very light rod. With the upcoming TW sale in the end of the month you could pickup 2 of these rods under $150.00.

Falcon’s 7’ mh mod fast rods are amazing.  The $100-150 options are honestly perfect for your needs.   I’ve tried several rods costing way more and for that application the inexpensive Falcons prevail every time.
