papajoe222 Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 I’m a big proponent of throwing something different than what most everyone else is. Over the last few seasons, silent cranks have boated a bunch of bass on the high pressures waters. I’m searching for a silent, lipless crank or a hack to turn a rattling one into a silent one. Suggestions/recommendations? 4 Quote

Smells like fish Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 It was the SK RES KVD silent stalker, no longer available but found occasionally on the auction site Quote
Aaron_H Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 I posted a topic about this somewhat recently that had some good suggestions for currently available silent lipless cranks as well as a mention on how to silence a rattling version. I've been enjoying the Thunderhawk Sergeant recently, comes in both a silent and rattling version. 2 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted November 18, 2021 Global Moderator Posted November 18, 2021 Drill a small hole in the belly of a rattling bait you want to make silent. Add a couple drops of superglue and shake. Epoxy the hole up and you should have a silent or nearly silent bait. 4 1 Quote
