In years prior, the official flyer will say 8am PST the day after Thanksgiving.  

 

Sign up for the email notifications to know for sure, and then refresh compulsively for 2 days ahead of time like the rest of us until it's live.

I have heard a lot about tackle warehouse adding the discount on Shimano gear once you make the purchase, their site says that shimano is the exemption but it will actually appear on your invoice.

It won't show up on the site or in your cart. It won't even show up in the checkout. Don't panic though. It will show up in the invoice they email you and you will get the discount when they charge your card. I buy an Expride every BF and it's always worked. 

 

Some brands aren't like that though. But I know Shimano is.

I’ve called them about anything that was discounted and they will apply the discount to that item

Thanks for the tip!! I was going to buy a JDM Metanium or buy a USDM at a discount on black Friday. JDM still cheaper so I don't know.. 

 

But I like your one Expride a year strategy, I may have to copy you on that.

So far I've been able to find them in stock the past two years. I've got the 7M spinning and the 72MH so far. I'm aiming for the mythical 610M Expride now and I'm probably going to swing and miss. That one is hard to get.

If you're on TW's mailing list you should have received an email today with a hyperlink starting the Black Friday discounts immediately. I've already placed my $300 order and the discounts were active. 

 

Also, I ordered a Daiwa reel and got the 20% discount. It only showed on the confirmation email. Hope this helps.

I can confirm they also take 20% off Shimano after you have checked out and get the invoice.

 

If you go to pay via paypal it shows up on the confirmation amount before you confirm to pay if you wanted to see your total before checkout.
