Smells like....victory

And a bit like vinegar.  Anyone ever able to pin down what the scent of powerbait is?

I still like the Mann's Jelly Worm scent.  It brings back vivid memories of fishing back in high school.

"Scents bypass the thalamus and go straight to the brain's smell center, known as the olfactory bulb. The olfactory bulb is directly connected to the amygdala and hippocampus, which might explain why the smell of something can so immediately trigger a detailed memory or even intense emotion."

Anyone else just sniff rage tail plastics in lieu of the morning cup of coffee? No? Just me? Okay.

I noticed the soft plastic powerbaits can sometimes for unknown reasons smell... "not so fresh".

Their powerbait dough bait never does though.

The original Berkely power bait smell. I love opening a new pack 7" pumpkin seed power worms and giving them a good sniff. It stinks oh so good!

Just yesterday I was thinking it was sad that the coffee scent disappeared around the same time that StikeKing became their first name....I was missing that smell yesterday as I opened a new package of Cut-R's

“I like the smell of napalm in the morning”.

Sniff Smelly Jelly it comes close to napalm.

Berkley Power scent is a closely held trade secret that bass can only tell you what it smells like....food.

Keep your plastics and scent smells. Everyone knows it’s the slime coat that loads both barrels of our noses with unadulterated ecstasy!

It’s fish your nostrils long for…

I’ve bought power bait gel to put on soft plastics, it works pretty well! Also the label says “fish bite and hold on 18 times longer” so just the amount of jokes that come from fellow anglers after reading that is worth the price of admission

I don't ever plan on getting out of bed in the mornings and going to sniff my soft plastics or any other bait for that matter.

Oh gosh! I mean, I don't just sniff them. I meant that it's my breakfast too! Skeeter's "Taste the Bait." I like to understand what I am feeding the fish.

I like the smell of soft plastics, but Smelly Jelly makes me gag, and I have a strong stomach for smells.
