Might as well cut out the middle man, save time and just buy some the old K&E, Ike-con or striper Kelly pre rigged worms.  Get them for like $1.99.  You even get to pull the little baggies off the card board backing

heck if you buy the creme version it comes with a spinner for a couple extra cents

edit:  I can’t believe bass pro is selling those for $5.99.  As a kid we used to get those for a buck

The silliness of the inu thing aside, it's not the same as those rigged worms of yesteryear, and a buck back then is probably more than the $6 they are charging today in inflation adjusted bitcoin. Just look at how much the sneakers that the kids on your lawn are wearing cost, heck my parents thought ProKeds were exorbitant at the time.

I had a few hours this weekend so, I tried it out of curiosity.  I just watched the beginning of the video so I’m not sure about the 3 FG knot thing people are referring to.  I used coffee straws that I use for line through swimbaits.  It’s pretty easy and only took a few minutes but if I were to do it again, I would pre-rig the straws so you can switch out quickly.  It caught fish and looked pretty good but they were really turned on so I ended up fishing moving baits…it was still functional after 3-4 fish.  Glad I tried it but I will just opt for a wacky rig if I want similar action.

Thanks for the info!

I dunno about the FG thing either...I used the coffee straws.  Going to test it tomorrow, but my "hunch" is similar to yours: wacky rig probably accomplished the same thing.

I think he was kidding about adding 3 fg knots ;)

My apologies! I was indeed just being a smarty pants about the time it would take to rig. @KP Dutycaught me!

I can see that snagging in brush piles and tearing apart, and fishing it around weeds is probably quite a chore.  I think I'll stick to a t-rig.
