tale Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 I see that Cabela's and Bass Pro Shop have the Raymarine Element 9 and 7 models on clearance. They have pretty big discounts on them ($450/$300 off respectively). I was planning to get a Garmin 7" model for around $500, but it's got me wondering if I should pick up one of these instead. I don't have any experience with any model of fish finder. I'm a complete newbie. Thoughts? Quote

Chris Catignani Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 I personally like RayMarine products...but honestly cant compare them to others. I've had two DragonFlys and an Element. I will say that the Element has a quad processor and is snappy to response. The down and side scan is great. Quote
Super User GaryH Posted October 12, 2021 Super User Posted October 12, 2021 I’m a Humminbird fan but all the reviews I see on RayMarine look good. Quote
