Functional Posted October 8, 2021 Posted October 8, 2021 Another hobby of mine is shooting long range competitions. I picked up a certificate for $125 worth of baits and $75 apparel from Zoom. I've only ever used their Mag II , Ol'Monster, Mag Ol' Monster, lizards and flukes/swimbaits. I'm planning to pick up some more of those and a few bags of trick worms but wanted to ask if theres anything in their lineup that I should give a try you have had good success with? Figured this was a nice opportunity to try something new, just dont want to take a complete shot in the dark. 1 Quote

Great on a drop shot, too. Never got much size on them but definitely a numbers bait. Come to think of it, I might try one on a ned rig next outing, they've been languishing in my tackle bag for too long.... 1 Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted October 8, 2021 Super User Posted October 8, 2021 Z hogs worked great for me too, in addition to those already mentioned. They haven’t been in any stores lately for some reason… Quote
GRiver Posted October 8, 2021 Posted October 8, 2021 Zoom finesse worm, green pumpkin worked well for me when I lived in Nc for smallies. 1 Quote

I would have gave them a shout too but I use The Mister Twister Ringworms instead. Awesome baits anyways! I threw one a split shot rig this spring and caught a few smallies Quote
Super User Log Catcher Posted October 8, 2021 Super User Posted October 8, 2021 The Fat Albert grubs and centipedes have worked well for me when you need to downsize your baits. 2 Quote
Kenny Yi Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Z-Craw and Z-Hog are my favorite creature baits/jig trailers 1 Quote
purpurite Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 I have a whole box full of various color Fat Albert grubs. Total confidence bait for me. Use them on their own Texas rigged or as trailers on jigs or spinners. I love them. 1 Quote
Super User LrgmouthShad Posted October 11, 2021 Super User Posted October 11, 2021 Gosh, anything is good. Speed worm is my favorite and the one that I still use. When I used them, z-craw as a jig trailer and z hog as Texas rig/jig trailer were really effective, especially in summertime. Quote
Chris Catignani Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 I always use the Super Chunk Jr on my flippin jig. Quote
rtwvumtneer6 Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Another vote for speed worms (red bug is my favorite) and Z craw junior is a great size to be pitched/flipped or as a trailer. Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted October 11, 2021 Super User Posted October 11, 2021 Literally the whole lineup is great. 1 Quote
