Hello, this is my first post on the forum after lurking a while and I'm hoping some of y'all can help me.

I am looking for a higher quality version of the Strike King Bitsy Flip. Essentially, a downsized pitching jig around 3/0. I am unsatisfied with the Strike King's quality control (inconsistent brush guards) and their lower quality skirts.

Can anyone vouch for the quality of these jigs?

($2.79) Booyah Baby Boo Jigs

($3.75) D&L Tackle Pro Series Baby Advantage Jigs

I'm especially interested in the quality of the skirts. Just bought some Googan jigs and I absolutely love the skirt material, but they don't make a downsized pitching jig sadly. Thanks guys

I like the Booyah baby boo jigs, but they have a very limited color selection.

I've used the dirty jigs compact pitchin jig in the past. Very good components but a little pricier. I've switched over to the D&L baby advantage jigs and have been very impressed. They have solid components, lots of colors and rarely hang up. Can't go wrong with either the D&L baby advantage or the dirty jig compact pitchin jig imo

Not sure which Strike king bitsy flip you are using, they have a bitsy bug that's even smaller. Enough said, dirty jigs are a good option, Baby Boo may be a little on the cheaper side like Strike king (personally I use Strike king bitsy flip in rocks so I don't care if I loose them. Alot of guys here use siebart, have heard good things about them, you will have to pay shipping but from what I hear they are good.

You should try the keitech tungsten jigs. They are amazing, super high quality. I used to use the bitsy flip but I just like the keitech jigs so much that I have fully switched to those.

Baby Boos are nice jigs, but the hook is a little lighter than the Bitsy Flips - may or may not be an issue for you. I've caught a lot of bass on them though. I also have a lot of Bitsy Bugs and Bitsy Flips...I just put my own skirts on them and trim accordingly (same with Boos). Makes for a solid, relatively inexpensive jig compared to most these days.

they are gonna cost you a little more but the riot baits tungsten jig is fantastic. now they are tungsten so they cost more but the colors and components are top notch. the dirty jigs compact pitching jig is very good also.

I can wholeheartedly approve the Siebert Sniper Jig

it has a lot of skirt color, head color, and skirt tying options, with good quality.  the hook was sharp and they ship the order quickly

I love the head design, able to handle rock and grass, swimming and hopping; the bait keeper holds my trailers much better than other jigs; and the weedguard is consistent

You can’t go wrong with siebert, excellent jigs and customer service.

One other option similar in profile to the bitsy flip is the Nichols Dee Thomas jig. Nice compact profile with a quality hook, just wish the skirts were wire tied

Beat me to it...The Tungsten Minima Jigs are essentially a much higher quality baby boo or bitsy bug jig.  High quality wire tied skirt and sharp/strong hook.  Between the head design and the smaller profile of the tungsten head it allows it to come through grass really well.  I pretty much use them as a pure flippin jig.

The compact flippin jig by dirty jigs are great too.  The head catches grass a little more then the Minima jig, but the compact flippin jigs head design is a little more versatile.  It doesn't snag up as much in rocks or wood.  I use this one mostly for pitchin/flippin but it can be fished on the bottom in a pinch.

The last 2 are the 1/4 Molix Kento Jig (must be 1/4 ounce the 3/8 is closer to standard size jig) and the Keitech.  Both jigs have a similar head design, great wire tied skirt and good hook.  If I could only have 1 jig it would 1 of these 2.  They're great in wood, rocks, skip super easy and come through grass well.  For whatever reason the brush guard on the kento jig is close to perfect right out of the pack,  out of 10 bites I'll catch 8 or 9 fish.  The only downside to the kento jigs is the skirts that are loaded with fleck like the GP red purple are really stiff.  The solid colors like black/blue, spanish craw, wild craw and blue craw are fantastic.

Excellent jigs! Unique colors and skirt material too.

I'm also big fan on Bitsy Flip jigs. I wire tie the skirts on, and use them until they fall off then put my own skirt on them. I have never had one issue with them. Perfectly angled weed guard , super sharp hooks, and well designed head.
