Never carry cash. Everything that can possibly go on the credit card goes on the credit card. I like the 2% cash back (Citi Double Cash Card) on everything, especially the stuff I’m going to buy anyway.

My account is set to autopay the prior statement balance to avoid any interest charges.

I carry 2 credit cards, used to only carry one until the magnetic strip went bad on it. Learned I needed a backup that trip the hard way.

I always have an emergency $50 cash on me. Never know when you need cash for tips, collections, muggings, etc.

Haha!! Yeah when I go downtown I keep some loose change in each pocket . We have some unusually aggressive panhandlers in my town and my favorite way to get them out of your bubble Is just hand them some change and keep walking. Plenty of times we just tell them we don’t have cash but then they just keep following along behind you

I always have cash in a money clip in my front pocket along with my credit card. Wallet stays locked in the truck.

All of my non-negotiable purchases like gas, monthly bills, etc go on the card for points. My monthly budget is set for October already, so I bring an envelope of cash to the grocery store and don't spend more than that.

Dave Ramsey referenced an interesting study that showed the brain feels pain when you hand over cash and get nothing back- not the case when you hand over a piece of plastic and it comes back to you fully intact. Apparently cc users spend 12-15% more than cash buyers. My savings has grown since hearing that

This is what happens when you have a weak bait monkey.  I feel this every time I spend more than $15.

Darn it, I thought the title of the thread was how do you carry cash.  That is in the bra portion of my wives swimming suit.

It'd be more interesting if it was tucked down her panties. :devil1:

I pay for bills, gas and anything I order online digitally (obviously). But each paycheck I take out a set amount in cash and that's my budget for food for the next two weeks. This way it helps me keep track of it and budget easier.

Primarily use cards but carry 4 - $500 ICE . I also carry 6 hookless Vision 110's in my front left pocket. If they won't trade whatever I need for a Megabass then the heck withem.

I only carry cash when it can help lower the  bottom. The shop I bring my car too offers cash discounts. Other than that I keep a $20 and a C note tucked away just in case  I go somewhere they dont accept plastic.

Always carry cash but use a debit card primarily unless traveling, then we use a credit card.

I usually have some cash, mostly take it to pay for camping if I'm staying overnight or taking a longer trip.
