Super User Munkin Posted September 26, 2021 Super User Posted September 26, 2021 Normally I just hoard stuff in my garage and basement. Last couple of years its become so bad that you can't walk around in the basement. I have been selling off stuff or giving it away to the Jr. Bassmasters club. With that said I have a long way to go! Plan is to sell off about 300 hardbaits over the winter. Allen 1 Quote
river-rat Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 I give them away to kids who are always fishing in the lake in my neighborhood. 1 Quote
Dirtyeggroll Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Find someone who is more down to earth than me and give them away so they will be used. 1 Quote
Luke Barnes Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Collect them. Complain that I can't find what I'm looking for because there is so much stuff in the way. I upgraded to the biggest tackle backpack I could find and its full. It weighs as much as my ruck sack did when I was in the Army so I have no problem carrying it all day. My left knee complains for the next few days though haha. I would love to find a local lure swap group to try new things and trade what I don't use. 1 Quote

Super User MN Fisher Posted September 26, 2021 Super User Posted September 26, 2021 I actually went through my boxes and put together those that I hadn't used and had no plans to use...hard baits as well as plastics. Took my Plano B-series 3700 bag, 4 boxes that were sitting around not being used, and put together a 'starter kit'. Added the President 7.3 on the Laguna and the Trion-35 on the Stratus...and offered as a 'package' with the canoe sale. First line of the ad read "Buy today, fish tomorrow" Dunno if it was a selling point, but sold the canoe in a week at my initial asking price. 2 Quote

So would I, sounds like a good idea but never seen one up here. Also seems giving them to someone is a very popular choice. The melting and repouring of plastics I never considered but maybe should. Near as I can tell I'm around 30lb's of plastics at this point ? 3 Quote
