DINK WHISPERER Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 So it's that time when I update a lot of my gear. I ordered a couple Shimano Exprides and they came in today. One of the cardboard tubes was bent pretty badly. It actually looks worse in person than I could get it to show in the picture I attached. Not sure how but the rod wasn't broken inside. Question is, could it have gotten damaged internally or somewhere that can't be seen visually? Would you guys send it back for another one or trust using it? Quote

Johnbt Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Like the dealer told me, it has a warranty, so try it and see what happens. That was July of 2019 and it's still fine. That's a Conquest 844C. The tube was completely broken into 2 pieces in the middle and somebody put a little piece of tape on it. Not even one full wrap. Quote
