Now you tell me. I just installed a ceiling fan, lol.

When I took the ugly, too big, ceiling fan, over my bed, that came with my house down, it weighed about 100 pounds. It was held up by a tiny little screw. I later saw it was recalled and it was advised to remove it for anyone who had one because it was a potentially fatal hazard. I couldn’t believe something that heavy could be rocking back and forth on a tiny crap metal screw on a crap metal ring mount.

Yikes! They are heavy. The one I installed was heavy but not 100 lbs. I honestly don’t remember how I put it up by myself, lol.

I’m fine working with anything electrical, up to 480V. Above that; call somebody else.

Water and electricity...you have to respect both as they can be uncontrollable and dangerous.

I hire professionals to take care of any water or electrical situations at my house.

If it's more than repairing the cow pasture electric fence or swapping out a battery, I'll let my brillant wife handle it. She's wired my boats, several trailers, shop, and our hot tub. Wiring looks like a bowl of spaghetti to me. I took & passed an pretty in depth electrical course to receive my A & P license. I was blessed to have an instructor that was eat up with the bass fishing bug like myself.
