Need help with a busted trolling motor mount......

Went fishing with a friend yesterday and had an accident that broke the mount on his trolling motor. It is an older "Motorguide" Pro series 46 SN 8M3000136. The clamp door broke and is not available anymore. I'm hoping a BR member might have an old one sitting in the garage or might know where I can find one. I am happy to pay for the part, no matter how old. This is the part I need, its the clamp door that holds the motor shaft with a few pics to help identify.....

If I can't find this part, I'm going to give him the new trolling motor off my boat, any help will be greatly appreciated.

God bless,

Ronnie

This same exact thing happened on my Motorguide that originally came on my Lund, also 46# thrust. It pretty much made the TM useless and at the time (I think in 2016) Motorguide customer service had absolutely no idea what I was talking about or how to help me. I'm pretty sure they understood the part I needed but I recall them not having it available for some ridiculous reason. I ended up selling the motor for practically nothing and got an MK Fortrex and said I'd never deal with motorguide again. The kid who bought the MG from me ended up just wrapping a bunch of electrical wiring around the shaft to stabilize it, lol.

I also talked to another Lund owner on the water a few years ago who didn't even have a trolling motor on his boat, because the same issue occurred!

Is this the part you're looking for?? If so, it's in stock...

Thanks for the effort, but the part I need is the cast metal door that wraps around the friction bushing in your link. You were close though.

That cast metal is as useless as udders on a boar hog

You can try my local shop.  They have various parts lying around.  If they don’t, they may lead you to a source.  All it will take is a call.

Marine Repair Center Springfield, MO 417-833-9191 ask for Scott.

Now I get it. The drawing calls that the door assembly and yes I see it's unavailable. Part number 879330A52 but it's been updated.

Here's the only one I found....

I need to say thank you to @Alpster for posting this and to @Krux5506 for finding it. I am needing the same parts for my trolling motor. For some reason when I checked that website it showed up as no longer available. I have already placed my order with them for the same parts. Thanks again guys.
