Super User Bird Posted September 21, 2021 Super User Posted September 21, 2021 This old man that I've fished with for over 40 years calls me and said come look at my boat. It's a 1994 Cheetah in excellent condition with a 150 Mariner......I've never heard of this boat. The good news is, I'll be fishing from it frequently. 1 Quote
Johnbt Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Take pics. They used to make fishing boats and such back in the '80s. https://cheetahpowerboats.com/ Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 22, 2021 Global Moderator Posted September 22, 2021 Looks like an old Charger. Looks great for being almost 30 years old. 2 Quote
@reelChris Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 A left side drive bass boat? I'd call it a unicorn rather than a cheetah. Quote
Kyle S Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 That looks awesome! I see lots of boats that look very similar here on the Pamunkey River. Things gonna be a fish catching machine! 1 Quote

Better take a closer look! Tom The issue with this vintage bass boat is chopper gun glassed wooden transom and stringer that can dry rote. Clean boat for it’s age, enjoy your time on the water. Not really at all. Even Nitro made one. It's a great big water configuration, and it's also preferred for high speed boats. Allison and Bullet still make them: 2 1 Quote
Blake Tinsley Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 Yeah, I actually just bought a 1990 cheetah 1800 pro and from what it seems they are very rare boats but from what I can tell the build quality is great 4 Quote
Super User J Francho Posted March 3, 2022 Super User Posted March 3, 2022 @Blake Tinsley pics!!!! @Bird you still running yours? Quote

Yes, it's my long time fishing friends boat but yes it's incredibly stable and a blast to fish from. 150 Mariner does very well. Trailer and boat are heavy but well built. 2 Quote
Blake Tinsley Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 I actually just bought a 1990 cheetah 1800 pro and I haven’t had it one the water yet but it seems like a very solid boat 4 Quote
Alex from GA Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 A couple of years ago my buddy had a Winner center console bass boat. Really crappy getting to the front from the driver's seat. It's gone. Quote
