Could I put another tranducer on my trolling motor using the same screen? I like to swivel the screen from the console when I'm in the butt seat up front but would like to Waypoint what is right below me. ( I know I could buy another full unit.)

You'd have to switch the connectors - I don't think there's a way to link two transducers to the same unit at the same time...the unit would get confused.

Maybe there's a switch out there...transducers plug into the switch, the switch plugs into the unit? I dunno.

I'm not super knowledgeable or up to date on all the Garmin transducers, so I may be misreading something,  but it looks like a Y splitter is pretty much only good for connecting "right" and "left" sidevu transducers.

What do you mean waypoint? As in mark a GPS spot? GPS between your console and your bow is not that accurate. Are you speaking of seeing what is below the bow vs. the transom?

The transducer has nothing to do with gps waypoints, its the unit itself.
