I haven't been on here for a while, no reason really, just got busy with life I guess. I lost my older brother last week at 57 years too young. It's been a tough one.

Growing up, he was the fisherman. I was more into sports and other stuff. Fishing was his true love. I came into it later, really after High School, but mostly because of him.

He kept it simple. I'd have rods scattered around and he'd have that split shot rig going. He never got on internet forums, never had more than a rod or two and just kept it simple slow rolling that worm focusing on any strike. I never asked him where he learned it but probably from an old magazine if I had to bet. He out fished me with it more than I care to admit.

Distance and life kept us from fishing together in recent years but I can't thank him enough for getting me into fishing. I love you brother..RIP
