Small conventional rod for freshwater

Are there any small conventional rod that you can use as a bait caster? 

Any brands and any good combos?

What do you mean by "small"? Are we talking short? Lightweight? Multipiece or Telescoping? Something else?

I just post that recently, I know what you mean. You can use Calcutta 100 or 200 sizes for that matter. I am using the BFS and they are the best for what you need. But how about you tell use why you looking for something like that?

Shimano Poison Adrena 163L BFS with a Shimano Aldebaran BFS XG.  Both JDM but available via JDM internet sites.  On the order of $700ish but totally worth it. About 8 oz for the combo!

Sometimes conventional rod means use of a rod that holds a baitcaster and water type is not a factor. I vaguely recall it from reading either Fishing for Dummies or The Idiot’s Guide to Fishing.

Like the saltwater reel like a tuna reel small enough for freshwater bass.

There's plenty of round form factor baitcast reels appropriate for bass.
