Marshall92 Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Just looking to buy some more swimbaits most of the keitechs I want are normally sold out. What's your all favorite brands when keitechs are sold out? Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted September 9, 2021 Super User Posted September 9, 2021 Eco Pro Swing Shad or R.I. Skinny Dipper. I don't even have any Keitech paddletails. 1 Quote
Super User ChrisD46 Posted September 9, 2021 Super User Posted September 9, 2021 Not the least expensive , but Strike King Rage Swimmers are common enough to be found just about everywhere ... Start with the 3.75" model and then go up or down in length from there as required . 2 1 Quote
Holetail Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 X2 on the Reaction Innovations skinny dipper. The Little Dipper is great too for a smaller profile. They have a good bit of rolling action so perfect on a swim jig. Although not a swim bait per se, I’ve had good luck with a swimming dinger as a trailer as well. Can easily shorten them and they make a nice compact profile with a more subtle action. 1 Quote
Derek1 Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Rage swimmers are less then $4 at my Walmart. So I buy a couple every time I go there. 1 Quote
Super User GaryH Posted September 9, 2021 Super User Posted September 9, 2021 Skinny dippers and Rage swimmers… 1 Quote
OG Crankster Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Eco Pro Swing Shad is about as close to a Keitech as I have found. Alot cheaper and more durable too. 1 1 Quote

ajschn06 Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Rage swimmers are pretty much equal to me in how they fish. Not as many colors as Keitech the only drawback imo 1 Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted September 9, 2021 Super User Posted September 9, 2021 I know it isn't rational, but I have zero confidence in Rage Swimmers....I will go way out of my way to get Keitech...or use 'wrong' colors or sizes of Keithechs...just to avoid Rage Swimmers. If desperate, I'd probably go with different style like Rock Vibe Shad, of Lake Fork Magic Shad if I couldn't get Keithechs. Lure confidence is a funny thing.... 1 1 Quote
walt-14 Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 I'm a fan of the 6th sense divine swimbait. Have used them as a swimbait trailer a handful of times and have done well. Havent used the 6th sense "whale" swimbait at all but would imagine that they would be pretty solid as well. 1 Quote
Super User NorthernBasser Posted September 9, 2021 Super User Posted September 9, 2021 I'm a fan of the X Zone Swammers. (btw, are they not a site sponsor anymore?) 1 1 Quote
Wprich Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Another vote for rage swimmers fish them from 2.75-3.75 1 Quote

Global Moderator Mike L Posted September 9, 2021 Global Moderator Posted September 9, 2021 Tried them all at one time or another but kept going back to either the RI Skinny Dipper or Big EZ depending on what they want, Thump or Wiggle Mike 1 Quote

detroit1 Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 I can't remember their name at this moment, but b.p.s. has a version with nice colors that i have some success with. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted September 9, 2021 Super User Posted September 9, 2021 I have yet to find a good substitute that is readily available. However, I do like the Megabass Spark Shad and the Magdraft. 1 Quote
Super User bowhunter63 Posted September 9, 2021 Super User Posted September 9, 2021 Caught a lot of Smallies on Rage Swimmers. Wally World has them 1 Quote
Super User MickD Posted September 10, 2021 Super User Posted September 10, 2021 Strike King KVD Perfect Plastic Caffeine Shad, either 4 or 5 inch. White (maybe they call it pearl) 1 Quote
txchaser Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 BioSpawn Exoswim - I've started buying them more and more after seeing what they look like on the back of a swimjig. Jackall Rhythm Wave - more subtle than a keitech, kind of a tight wiggle vs a waggle. 1 1 Quote
