So today I had another tough day. Caught 3 bass in about 5 hours and 3 ponds worth of fishing. The consistent morning bite I had been experiencing dried up a week or two ago and most of my catches are random no pattern fish. To top it off I talked to a young guy ..early 20s id guess..at my local pond two different times this week. He's from out of town so I tried to give him some tips. He paid me back by leaving a pile of ripped up baits(garbage) on my favorite fishing jetty. Made me wanna track him down and teach him a lesson. That's my pet peeve...pieces of trash leaving trash. Sorry had to relieve some pressure.

Are you certain he left the trash and nobody else could have?

Absolutely. I looked when I got to the pond and there was no trash. Then I fished it right after he left...nobody there in the meantime...and the trash was there.

People who leave trash are trash. Sorry to hear it.

People leaving trash, people having big mouths, people not respecting space, and people not respecting the resource is why I don't share information with people who will fish the same waters as me. There are enough bad apples to ruin things.

My problem is I like to help people...well decent people who deserve help.

But experiences like this will make me tell everybody to jog on. Don't wanna be that guy but I'm sick of getting burned.

I went out on Wednesday and with the bluebird skies I just assumed I might not catch fish.  I ended up with 11 bass in 8hrs which is a good day on this particular lake.  I can tell you that 10 of the 11 fish were in one of two places: either 10-15 feet of water or 10-15 inches of water.  No exaggeration.  I caught one fish on the end of a laydown in 6ft of water.  The others were 10+ feet or 1 foot.  Maybe you can find some the same.
