HaydenS Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Keep your rod tip UP when reeling. Throw a lighter head with a trailer, makes it easier to skip to. My favorite buzzbait is a Walmart $1 buzzbait, with a rage menace trailer, no skirt. Don't throw braid, use fluoro if you can. 1 Quote

Even running darn near sideways Crimp the rivet, bend the wire in a couple places, take off the skirt and you're good to go. The skirt makes a good small spinnerbait skirt if you trim it up a little bit. You tune your buzz baits once they start running sideways? Quote
