Are they really still totally unavailable? Is that 2 or 3 years now since they theoretically introduced them? I really doubt they are that special, but it would be nice to be able to buy a couple of packs to be sure! Seems more than slightly inept of Berkley to still be having supply issues, covid or not.

Not sure if they are still sold out everywhere @Tim Kelly

but a while back I stumbled across some in a local place.

I was able to secure a bit of a 'stash'.

If you pm me your address, and think they'll make it across the pond,

I can send you a couple of bags.

All I have is Green Pumpkin . . .

Just don't tell "Ditchy"

Let me know.

I still have the pack that hitched a ride from your place to mine when I bought those SK cranks. I think they’re worth more now than I paid for all the cranks! ?

You have to watch closely, online tackle sites have some from time to time but they don't last long.  Something I didn't understand is all these baits that are already in production and these companies can't keep them on the shelves, but they bring new stuff out at ICast instead of trying to catch up with the demand for already existing baits.

At the Collegiate championships a few weeks ago, I can't tell you how many anglers on the platform said they were dropshotting with the Berkely Maxscent Flatworm.

Frankly, I don't think the smallies in the St. Lawrence are that particular on what they'll hit, but I could be wrong.

Thanks Andy, really kind of you. I suspect you'll get more smallmouth on them than I will in the near future, though I bet my monster perch would like them.

Maybe if I get a chance to go to Canada next summer and Berkley still don't have their ducks in a row, I might well see if the offer's still open.

Ditchy would sulk if I had them and he didn't. ?

Very Good Sir

There will be some waiting for you here whenever.

Just ask.

There are vendors on eBay asking 12.99 to 19.99 a bag ? At those prices I can buy 4 bags of Yum Warning Shots or 3 bags of Strike King Dream Shots and just soak them in a Berkley Gulp juice bucket for 24 hours. Probably the best frugal alternative

So I used these for the first time this week and I have to say that they, as of right now, do live up to the hype.  I have tried other Max Scent baits with mixed results but I couldn't stop catching fish with these things.  I tried them on both DS and an 1/8oz jig head.  Both were great.

I see them for sale on FB bait selling groups with a very large mark-up on price. I cant stand to see price gouging regardless of supply and demand.

I'm all for using a killer bait and pumping the odds in my favor of catching more or bigger fish because of it. But what is the buzz about these now? Guys on Facebook are trying to flip bags of them for like $15 a pop.

Because the stores can't keep them in stock and Berkley can't keep up with demand!  So guys are selling baits they have in their possession and collecting a king's ransom on them!

Limited though - they only have one size and three colors.

Maxscent flat worms come in two sizes and fourteen colors.

We’re running very low (1 pack left) of the Flat Worms, so I bought a pack of the MaxScent Flatnose Minnows for dropshotting.  First day out with them, we we’re getting bit right on the drop and had a great day on Lake Ontario including my son landing a 5lb. 7oz. smallie.  I was right back in the store buying up 1/2 doz. bags the same day. ??

No I get that. But why the buzz all of a sudden? You used to be able to just walk into a shop and buy them.

Pros are using them, winning tournaments, and singing their praises so everyone buys them looking for that "silver bullet".

I haven't seen any in stock in my local shop in over a year, and they carry more product than Bass Pro.  Could also be because the guys fishing Erie have them all bought up constantly.
