So when I think mag finesse worms I think of stuff like the zoom mag finesse or strike king fat baby finesse. Then I found the yum offering and its name is misleading. After checking the specs on this dude its closer in size to an 8in strike king bull worm or zoom mag trick worm. Its 7.5in and twice as big around as a finesse worm.  Also like all of yums products its a bargain comparatively...7pk for $3.29.Anyhow I bought a pack to try and was wondering...anybody throw this? How do you like them?

There are many different finesse presentations, some of which actually produce better with bigger/longer baits. In other words, the bait doesn't have to be small for a presentation to be considered finesse.  A split-shot (Mojo) rig, shakey head, and wacky rigs are examples.

You could use that bait for any of those presentations, My favorite is weightless using a size 1 or 1/0 circle hook run through the egg sack and left exposed.  I use casting gear, but spinning is better suited to this technique.

Well when I said the name is misleading what I meant was compared to other worms with the same name its definitely different. I agree with you that  finesse can mean alot of different things. That's not what I was trying to convey. I plan on using it in brush on a Texas rig.

I've used them a lot, it's a great worm like most all of YUM's offerings.

I really liked what I saw yesterday out of them so I ordered two more packs when I got home. YUM may be the best bargain in bass fishing. There stuff is pretty good quality you, get a good amount and for a very reasonable (cheap honestly) price. Zoom is still my favorite but for cost and even availability reasons lately I find myself using YUM stuff more often and I'm still catching fish. I've heard people say stuff like yeah that Christie craws alright but it's no rage craw...or that dingers ok but its no senko. Yeah that's true they aren't quite as good...but they are still good...also more durable and less than half the price.

It's a square peg, round hole situation. A Dinger may not be as good of a wacky rig bait as a GYCB Senko, but it's BETTER for a Neko, weighted T-rig, shakyhead, bubba shot, basically everything except a weightless presentation, and even then the Dinger wins out if they want a slower fall.

The Christie Craw is more a kicking action instead of a flapping action of the Rage Craw. Both excellent baits. I use a ton of Christie Craws every year on the back of my jigs.

Yep, that's why I use these guys for my wacky's in shallow water.
