Super User ATA Posted August 19, 2021 Super User Posted August 19, 2021 Guys, What is the one every angler attaching to the wall and hang soft plastics and lure boxes? Please include amazon link as well. To be exact I want to apply that behind my cabinet door, So when I open my fishing cabinet, everything will be attached to back of the door. Quote
schplurg Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 I have 2 x 4 foot pegboard on a wall with all my bags of plastics, plus extra packaged baits and terminal. I have limited space and want to quickly see what I'm running low on.. You can buy the pegboard for $12 at Home Depot. I ordered the hangers from Amazon, and bought a small pack while I was at HD too. It came with the mounting hardware. Here is a weird photo of part of it (from a Youtube thumbnail) 1 1 Quote

MAN Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 I use this style plastic pegboard that already has spacers built in to the back to distance it from the wall so you can insert hangers. They come in 1ft x 1t peices so you use as little or much as needed to cover your area https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-16-in-x-16-in-Interconnecting-Plastic-Pegboard-in-Black-50-lbs-17961/202249707 1 Quote

schplurg Posted August 21, 2021 Posted August 21, 2021 There ya go! I got 4 inch but they're kind of long. I have a bunch of different types actually, they came with the Home Depot kit. Have fun, I enjoyed organizing my board. I'm not an organized person either. The Home Depot kit has some spacers and screws for hanging, but you can use whatever you want. 1 Quote

schplurg Posted August 22, 2021 Posted August 22, 2021 I can't always find what I need in stores these days, so I buy extra packs, especially if on sale. I also bought a bunch of cheap crankbaits when Covid started. My board is for extra stuff, like I have 4 packs of green pumpkin YUM Dingers, stuff like that. I'm renting a room for now so it's hard to keep boxes where I can get to them, and not forget where they are. I like seeing it all in front of me. And I'm single so no woman to complain. I like it Might be the first time I actually helped anyone here! My fishing skills are still up and coming. 2 Quote

97dimebryan Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 I use slatwall. I’ll upload some pics of the saltwater side (yep, I’m that guy that keeps it separated for the most part). I also use 2” hooks. I picked up my slatwall from Payless shoe stores when they went out of business in my area. It worked out well, so far. Now I just need to get around to all the freshwater stuff. 2 Quote

It’s getting out of hand. I just recently got back into tournament bass fishing, so it’s getting ridiculous the amount of rods and reels I’ve bought/built in the last few months. I’ll have to take those pictures when my wife isn’t home ? 2 Quote

Super User whitwolf Posted August 29, 2021 Super User Posted August 29, 2021 My regular tackle storage. It's not what it once was since I have down sized. I do have more crankbaits and spinner bait in Plano boxes. Then there's the Rebel collection... 3 Quote
