So I am on a first name basis with a local tire store because…

Every few weeks I get another nail or screw in a tire.  Last night I noticed another tire low on air, ( Drivers side in front )but I was tired and just put air in it. I took it after work today , and the good news was…

I had bought one new tire before with road hazard warranty, and they said this time they couldn’t patch it because it was on the outside. The new tire is only 24.99 with the coverage.!!?

But there’s more… When the employee came back in from checking the other tires he said the back left tire was completely flat, and the nail was also where they couldn’t patch it.!! So another tire for 24.99! ( These are 175.00 normally  I think )

The bad news is… They wont be ready until 7:30 , and I have to wait.

I think I have an enemy in my nieghborhood. It’s literally every 6-8 weeks like it’s on a schedule. Thinking about putting a trail cam on the closest tree to where I park .

Update: They already got it done ! 5:20.

Excellent service!

Nah mike, it’s not an enemy. That means you work for a living!!! Same thing happens to me, it was crazy bad in 2011-2013. We had a wild hail storm that caused at least 90% of all homeowners to get a new roof. There were nails everywhere for years. My boss had to get a new tire last week for the same reason you mentioned. I’ve taken to just keeping a plug kit it my truck, it’s pretty easy

But this is  my suv that I dont drive near as much. ( I have a work car that I drive all day and take home) I get no nails in the work car  though, although someone slashed a tire on it once while it was sitting on my property.

I used to plug tires a lot but the service is so good at this tire store I haven’t been!. I need to get me a plug kit though just in case. Thanks!

Ok now that’s weird………. My work truck is the one that gets all the nails, my personal truck has had the same 4 tires for over a year and half (and the back two I bought used! Haha)

When I had my pickup I might have had 2 nails in 20 years , and it sat in the same area my suv does!

Im thinking about where my I drive my suv and it seems like I always get the nails friday-monday. Im at church for my security job and services on the weekend so… maybe its there! Checking with my security chief today to  see if he’s getting other complaints…

We keep a big ole magnet on a stick at the shop (gravel parking lot). It’s crazy what all it picks up and we aren’t a big outfit (4 employees)

I swear my dad gets a screw or nail in his tire every two weeks.  Shoot, we changed a popped tire yesterday.

My security chief at church says he’s getting no other complaints so… it continues to be a mystery.

My wife gets so many flats I wound up buying a full size spare for her car so I can change out the wheel and deal with the flat one on my own time. I keep a breaker bar, torque wrench, plug kit and inflator in her trunk. Once she got 2 flat tires at work so I had to bring out 2 of her extra snow tires/wheels. ?

I probably should get a Milwaukee cordless impact gun too.
