I am in the market for a bass boat, aluminum, tin, or glass. I have been eyeing the Vexus AVX2080 for what seems like forever. I have researched literally everything about that boat and I am in a dilemma. One thing  that is suspicious is that, yes even though it is tin (the hull itself is at least) I believe that I should be able to put a 250 proxs since it is a 20 foot boat. If they dont let met put a 250 on the back could that mean that they break if that amount of force is applied? Also I am confused if it is overpriced. For tin+200hp merc and minimal customization (powerpole blades, force TM, and 1 console and 1 bow garmin 106sv's) the total price is around $59k. After reading more, i soon learn that a lot of the interior is fiberglass (nothing fiberglass about the boat itself, just used to make sterage bins/cooler/console/step) Is it the use of fiberglass on the inside that makes it that expensive? Are there any things that I am unaware about? Please let me know. Would help a lot.

They're all too expensive! Lol.  I wish what I want was only $59k!   I built a DVX19 to compare to the 1975 Pro-V that I've been eyeing up.  The Vexus is actually $600 less than the Lund.

The max rating for this boat on the website is listed at 200.  If you exceed that, you void the warranty and your insurance may also not cover you.  Every watercraft has a max hp outboard rating for a reason and its primarily for safety and integrity.

I don't know anyone that owns a Vexus but it sure seems like a nice boat to me.  Maybe someone that actually owns one will chime in with their thoughts.  I have found the best advice and information on a particular brand to be directly from someone who owns or has owned one.

I know very little about them so I don't want to be discouraging but...I talked to a guy in my local club about his AVX1980 back in July and he said the hull cracked on him.  He had to run his bilge pump all day during our events.  Other than that, he loved it.  He also said Vexus was building him a replacement which is good.

That happened to a guy in my club too.  He got a new hull as well.
