#1 Baitcaster - used for speed worms/senkos

#2 Baitcaster - used for spinnerbaits/chatterbaits

#3 Spinning - used for TRD’s and paddletail swimbaits

What line should I use for those (I have plenty of line for mono, fluoro and braid - plus fluoro leaders).

Side note: I do enjoy braid to fluoro leaders the most.

I prefer the Stealth Gray color.

#1: 30# braid for the speed worm, and same for the senko under the assumption the senko is rigged weedless (If it was wacky I'd go a different route but no need to complicate things). I'd go straight braid on the swimming worm but you can use leader if you prefer that. Senko, I always use a leader.

#2: I like mono or copoly for moving baits. .33mm diameter for spinnerbaits and chatterbaits, which is usally 12# or 15# depending on brand.

#3: 10# braid with 6# or 8# leader of your choice.

My style is a little bit different. I like 20# fluoro for my big spinnerbaits , chatter baits, swim jig and whatever else has a big single hook subsurface. 8# fluoro for drop shot, Ned rig , senko ( wacky) and 3 inch paddle tails. Works perty good for me.

#1: 12-15 pound fluorocarbon

#2: 16-20 pound fluorocarbon

#3: 10 pound braid to 10 pound fluoro leader

any fluorocarbon application could be replaced with a mono or copoly imo

If #1 is on a MH/F rod, I would go with 15# fluorocarbon. I like the Daiwa J-Fluoro Samurai a lot, but Sunline Sniper and Shooter and Seaguar Inviszx and Tatsu are also all solid choices.

For #2, I would either go with a slightly cheaper fluorocarbon like Invizx or 15# monofilament. If I only have three rods and reels, I'm probably going with mono to throw topwaters on it.

For #3, I like the 12# Sunline SX1 myself, but 15# PowerPro or Daiwa J-Braid x8 will do nicely, then add a 6-8# leader.

30lb PowerPro braid on all my bait-casters

10lb bright yellow PowerPro braid to 10lb Fluorocarbon leader on all my spinning rods.

Simple. Effective.

Here I saw great recommendations from fellow members replying you and all of them are good and proven recommendations. I would do the same and agree with them.

Since you said you are braid to leader fisherman I want to share my experience with you.

I was braid to leader(fluoro) on all my 10 set ups and reason for that was mostly backlashes, I had backlash with flouro always.

after couple years and study and look after pros ive seen almost 80% of them using flouro and they use braid or mono on special application.

So I start with 10lb fluoro on my 802 set up(medium power) and I really liked it, Now I am about to spool my MH set up all the way fluoro as well.

and my large swimbaits rod and frog rod are all the way braid.

so now I only have 5 rods with braid to leader, 3 rods(XH, XXH and XXXH) only Braid. and two only fluoro.

Always remember where you fish most and how you fish.

Is it grass? so you need braid to leader, is it rocks or open water ? you need to go all the way fluoro.

sometimes you need to have very long leader of fluoro, Like my spinning set up, I have 15lb samurai braid and 10 to 20 yards of 6lb test fluorocarbon leader.

I know you only have 3 set ups, But here comes the side effects of bass fishing, buying more specific combos for every situation.

Anyways I hope I could be helpful for you to decide your choice of line.

At the end, Yes I dont use mono at all, I use mono only on saltwater fishing.

I run braid to mono leader on swimming worms right now. Around 30lb braid to 12lb mono. I think there's several setups that could work for swimming worms depending on application.

For spinnerbaits I run 15lb big game

For senkos I run 15lb braid to 12lb fluoro on a spinning setup.

Can't help you with swimbait/TRD setup.
