Heron Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 Holy moly - I love this bait! for being a paddle tail swimbait, this one checks all the boxes for me. It has... - great baitfish profile - great action even at slow speeds - great durability, holds together extremely well - great cast ability, really casts a mile - great color choices But there’s just one problem... i love this bait - but the fish dont. only a handful of fish have showed interest in this bait over the past several year. Even when fished in the best conditions, other baits will catch five times as many, or more. great bait, yet so disappointing Quote
HaydenS Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 Looks like a good bait, surprised the fish don't like it. Quote

I really don’t understand it been using it for both largemouth and smallmouth. ive only caught a few largemouth, one Walleye, a couple Crappie, and one white bass. That’s about it over the past few years. 1 Quote
Super User jimmyjoe Posted August 8, 2021 Super User Posted August 8, 2021 I don't know which size you're using, but I have found that in general, if large boot-tail baits don't get their attention, move DOWN one size. It usually works for me. I hope it works for you. jj p.s. - all other caveats apply; slow retrieve, very little added weight, stop-and-go or pop-and-drop, etc. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 11, 2021 Global Moderator Posted August 11, 2021 The fish on Table Rock love that 2.75" size on a small jighead. Quote
