DDog1 Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 I am considering power poles, never had them before. I do mostly bass fishing but now and then I do like to troll for trout. Question is will the power poles get in the way of the fishing line from trolling rods? I was going to get the longer poles which stick up a bit more. Do they get in the way? Quote
DINK WHISPERER Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 I've never trolled for trout but I've trolled shiners behind the boat for bass and my poles have never been an issue. I will usually deploy them down half way just up off the bottom or so. I sometimes forget they're there. All I know is the benefits FAR outweigh the negatives IMHO. 1 Quote
