Yep another beer thread by me. So it's gonna get hot here again over the weekend and the regular beer just hasn't been as refreshing lately. Looking for recommendations for shandies, radlers or and citrusy type brew that helps beat the heat?

Ever try a hard seltzer? My wife kind of started me up on those lately. Right now I’ve got a summer retro edition of bud light in the fridge.

I like grapefruit shandy made by leinekugels and stiegl grapefruit radler for fruity girly beer types.

I actually saw a billboard for this today and thought of this thread. I’ve never had it and I’m not sure if it’s available in your area, but they have a store locator on their site.

I'm a porter or stout guy myself, you could float a drop-shot rig in some of the beer I like! But I keep some lighter stuff for the family when they visit.(I get mix and match at the store) they seem to like Sam Adams Porch Rocker.(Radler...I think?) Can't go wrong with anything Sam Adams. I find Labatts Blue to be very refreshing, but it's a pilsner.

Before you give up on beer, have you tried a fresh, ice-cold Stella Artois?  I prefer heavy, dark beers, but Stella is a real pleasure on a hot summer day.

The first time I tried it, I didn't like it.  I live in a rural area and it probably isn't a big seller around here.  I think it may be sensitive to age or handling and can get skunky.  But a good fresh one is clean, crisp and refreshing.
