She has the typical high energy Husky temperament and after a bit of focused socialization / training she'll be ready to go to her forever home. We were at the house in Wisconsin and the cat was underneath her deceased stepfathers boat. Grandma talked to the neighbors and they all said she has been roaming around begging for food. Vet gave her a clean bill of health minus worms which they gave her a shot and we need to recheck in 2 weeks. 6 Quote

While we've certainly had our share of "Foster Failures" we had to make a 'plan' a while ago as far as what we are going to do & most importantly, when. With the recent passing of Teddy and our Two Big malamutes being 10 years old, once they cross the bridge, the outside kennel will be empty. First time ever and we're not looking forward to that. Plan is to switch breeds then (puppies) to something with 'less tonnage'. Easier to handle, especially that first two years. Tough call for sure. Time will tell. Until then we'll foster as the opportunities are presented. A-Jay 2 Quote

As I've mentioned before, when we started, we 'kept' one here & there. Didn't take long to realize that there was definitely a 'limit' and we may have surpassed it once or twice. Since then we've come to learn to love the process just as much (or More perhaps) than the dogs themselves. At least that's what we keep telling ourselves . . . Either way, this little Husky is turning out to be a real sweetheart and seems to be working overtime to steal our hearts.
