Also one of Toms favorite targets quit his job mid game Sunday and don’t forget about the rams, defense wins championships I think a team with a more competent DC might have perhaps considered doing something other than trying to play man coverage on guy the entire game that put up almost 250 yards. Spagnolo has done a lot to turn the defense around for KC, but he seems really arrogant in his decision making sometimes. Sending an all out blitz on 3rd and 27 when all you have to do is hold them to a field goal and get the ball back with a couple minutes left to take the lead? Yikes. 2 Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted January 10, 2022 Global Moderator Posted January 10, 2022 Jennings got two scores for @J._Bricker ‘s niners squad yesterday, one may have even been in overtime. I knew that draft pick would pay off for y’all, he was a man among boys in college. Even after all the injuries, he is very hard to tackle. Love to see it!!!! 1 Quote

Deebo Samuel is such a weapon. That was quite a play call when they ran the ball 9 times in a row and then had him throw it. I am not sold on the Rams as a contender. Stafford is way too hot or cold and if a defense can neutralize Kupp they don’t have other serious threats. Patriots at Bills for a third time also intrigues me. 2 Quote
Super User J._Bricker Posted January 10, 2022 Super User Posted January 10, 2022 @TnRiver46 and yes I do remember your comments on Jennings earlier in the season. The Niners just can’t keep him off the field ‘cause he just keeps making plays. And congrats to your Titans, they just keep getting in done every week and it paid off with that #1 seeding. Quote

Super User Bird Posted January 11, 2022 Super User Posted January 11, 2022 Lots of experts picking Tenn vs Green bay in SB but I got questions. (1) Will henry have his legs ? They need him. (2) if Tampa plays Green bay, can Rodgers actually beat Brady ? Should be fun Quote

I know big D probably has a gauntlet to get there most likely having to go through San Fran, Tampa, and Green Bay, but their defense is legit this season and they are the highest scoring team in the league. I got the Bills at 8-1 and Cowboys at 11-1. Put $100 on both to win Super Bowl 56. 1 Quote

I've been staying away from this thread given our wild ride this season. Resisting the urge to talk smack. But the hope has always been there, and they are rising at the right time. Colts and Chargers elimination was surprising, proof more of "any given day" in the NFL. Here's looking to Saturday and beating the Pats one more time. 2 Quote

I think Buffalo is better than their record indicates. Josh Allen needs to limit his recklessness when he runs the ball though. One of these times a linebacker is gonna take his head off. 1 Quote

This coming from a clam chowder eating member of these forums! ? ...Especially with a big game coming up this weekend. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted January 11, 2022 Super User Posted January 11, 2022 The Bills winning will make it so painful, being somewhat local. Their fans are insufferable. So many senseless table smashings! Quote
