BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 2, 2021 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 2, 2021 Well, one thing about offseason rumors is that they rarely come true. It's usually from desperate sports writers that have little to write about. So I don't give any credence to rumors and speculations. That said, the 'Hawks are long overdue for an overhaul. So it's an easy, soft target to talk about. I think it's a sure bet there's going to be some major changes during the offseason. But nobody knows what that will be, not even the 'Hawks. So just ignore the rumors. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted December 2, 2021 Global Moderator Posted December 2, 2021 Seems like they've been saying that for a few years now? Feels like a "Keep saying it, and it will be right eventually", kind of thing. Although I think it just seems like it's time for a change at this point. Quote
Super User gim Posted December 3, 2021 Super User Posted December 3, 2021 Looking forward to MNF this week. Patriots at Bills. I am quite shocked that the Patriots are sitting at 8-4 this season. Mac Jones has been pretty good as a rookie QB and the defense is stellar, but I didn't think they had a chance to over take Buffalo for the division. 3 Quote
Super User Bird Posted December 3, 2021 Super User Posted December 3, 2021 I'll just jump right in......Cam Newton couldn't put a football in a swimming pool, wow. 1 Quote

MJ10 (my ###) will really gain some experience if he can pull out a win here. 1 2 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted December 6, 2021 Global Moderator Posted December 6, 2021 Congrats Lions fan! Gutsy finish to get the win. So many close calls this year, they had to come out on top eventually. 2 Quote
Black Hawk Basser Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 Patriots in 1st place as of right now....let's go Bills! Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted December 7, 2021 Global Moderator Posted December 7, 2021 The video of pregame practice kicks was pretty telling. Without a solid running game, those kind of conditions were going to be a huge hurdle to overcome, almost like having a couple extra defenders on the field, not that BB needs extra players on the field to shut offenses down. 1 Quote

BTW: Mac Jones threw for 19 yards to 13 for Grogan, if you're keeping score...? Quote
Super User gim Posted December 7, 2021 Super User Posted December 7, 2021 I kinda thought that game was pretty boring. Kudos to the Patriots though. Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted December 7, 2021 Super User Posted December 7, 2021 I hear ya, with the elements, the game was pretty much muted down with all the run plays. Old time football for sure. Although, I think I would rather see that than a blow out. Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted January 4, 2022 Global Moderator Posted January 4, 2022 Don’t look now but my two favorite teams both won their division, Cincinnati and Tennessee Quote
VolFan Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 Don’t sleep on Cincinnati! And the Titans will be a tough out with Henry back. 1 Quote
Super User Bird Posted January 4, 2022 Super User Posted January 4, 2022 Only 4 teams with a chance. Imo AFC - KC and Tenn NFC - Green bay and Tampa bay. Anyone else to win it would be a shocker. Quote

Anyone else to win it would be a shocker. In the AFC that’s probably half accurate. The Titans did lose to the freaking Jets and Texans this season though. I could definitely see Dallas or LA Rams winning the NFC. Especially the Cowboys with that defense they have. Would like to see McCarthy and the Cowboys visit Green Bay in the divisional round. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted January 4, 2022 Global Moderator Posted January 4, 2022 It's been a really weird year. Titans lost to the Jets and Texans, but the Titans stomped the Chiefs. Bengals lost to the Bears, Jets, and Browns, but beat the Chiefs, Bucs, and the Ravens twice. The Bucs barely snuck past the Jets, lost to the Saints twice, and a team with no name. The Packers have been the most consistent IMO, but can Rodgers finally make it through the post season without a collapse? Quote

Also one of Toms favorite targets quit his job mid game Sunday and don’t forget about the rams, defense wins championships Quote

Burrow might be a little young yet to Carry the Bengals on the big stage but I like the kid. Antonio Brown has issues bigger than football and likely needs professional help and I'm sure Brady will miss him. 3 Quote

That's kinda why I ranked Dallas a little higher than the Rams. I'd take Prescott over Stafford at QB because of the interceptions Stafford is notorious for throwing. 1 Quote
