HaydenS Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Uncle Josh Pork Trailers, who has these in their tackle anymore, and fishes them? I know Gerald Swindle said he has a hidden stash somewhere of the original stuff. 1 Quote

Say it with me now "Pigs like pork". 6 Quote
GetFishorDieTryin Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 The demand never went away. Hopefully they bring back the strips and sea rinds, they're excellent on bucktails. 2 Quote

Super User scaleface Posted July 28, 2021 Super User Posted July 28, 2021 They use to make a Spring Lizard/Waterdog . I used a black one on a black jig if I thought I could get a big bass . Didnt catch a lot on it but they were usually hawgs . Quote

papajoe222 Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 I used them back then, but doubt that I’ll go back to using them. They work, no doubt, but they’re a pain to remove and if you leave them on a jig the hook ends up rusting. I actually had a tool that looked like a big crochet needle that would slip over the barb so I could remove them with much less effort. 3 Quote
Super User NorthernBasser Posted July 28, 2021 Super User Posted July 28, 2021 Now we need Strike King to bring back the Pork-O! 1 Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted July 31, 2021 BassResource.com Administrator Posted July 31, 2021 Here's some fish porn for ya! Knowing they quit production because "the quality pork supply is no longer available," I asked them if these were the same as the original. "Yes, but they're different." is the answer I got. When pushed further, they clammed up and directed their attention to others in the booth. So...NOT the same as the original. Whether or not they perform as well is yet to be known. 4 Quote
