Okay you guys that are hard core top water Dawg walkers.  My top water box is the least stocked.  I have some Spooks and Super Spooks and a couple Sammy 85 series.  I’m open to some other options.  I’ll be fishing clear water and predominately for smallmouth.

The 2 Sammy type dog walking lures I rely on are;

The original balsa Wooden Sammy* silver Shad and Owner Activa ZIP N Ziggy In Baby Bass.

PS, I am a SoCal borne high lander San Bernardino  mountains where a dog is a dog.

I think he means "dawg" as in Strike King KVD Mega DAWG, or Megabass MegaDAWG (two big walking baits).

 

Or, he's a hillbilly.

You have some good baits. I'd look at adding some color options. Smallies seem to like colorful spooks. Their wounded shad is a favorite of mine. I've also added a splash of yellow to the underside of a bone colored one to bring them up.

Thank you for the suggestions. I went with a Cat Walk, Crush Dogma,two Lucky Craft Sammy 105’s and a Sexy Dawg.  I’m confident these will meet the conditions I’ll be seeing the remainder of the year.
