Super User Darth-Baiter Posted July 25, 2021 Super User Posted July 25, 2021 Not sure what subforum this fits in. anyways. I was wearing the ubiquitous sun shirt hoodie. Love them. But recently I’ve been gravitating towards the button up long sleeve. Heck, I wear them mountain biking. my luck the Simms button up is d**n near sold out everywhere. My wife thinks she saw them at a local men’s store at the mall. I’ll go today to suss it out. ‘’the Columbia ones I have are nice. Cooler than a pullover. And I stink less. Haha. any other recommendations? Besides; Quote
Super User Boomstick Posted July 25, 2021 Super User Posted July 25, 2021 Have you tried the vented long sleeve sun shirts? https://www.columbia.com/p/mens-bahama-icon-long-sleeve-shirt-1929371.html?dwvar_1929371_color=487&pos=32 1 Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted July 25, 2021 Super User Posted July 25, 2021 Both HUK & Columbia (PFG) make a decent quality product https://www.hukgear.com/collections/mens-shirts?_=pf&pf_t_type=collar&pf_t_sleeve=Long Sleeve https://www.columbia.com/search?lang=en_US&searchMethod=manualSearch&q=Mens long sleeve pfg shirt A-Jay 1 Quote
GTN-NY Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 I have multiples of these in short and long sleeve. Weird thing is even though they are the same label they are two different fabrics. One feels like a garbage bag and the other is light and airy and they all came from amazonhttps://www.columbia.com/p/mens-pfg-tamiami-ii-long-sleeve-shirt-FM7253.html?dwvar_FM7253_color=873 Quote

rtwvumtneer6 Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 I wear a lot of Aftco, but all the major brands seems to be effective. I keep an eye on their sale page https://aftco.com/collections/mens-sale Also, stay away from fabric softeners for the moisture wicking and anti-stink and stain. 1 Quote
CountryboyinDC Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 Just get you some Dickies like EJ. https://majorleaguefishing.com/angler-columns/2018-09-13-jumpsuits-patches-and-bell-bottoms/ I agree that the shirt in the picture might be a little too nice to fish in. Quote

GTN-NY Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 Thanks for this thread. It reminded me to check on the Columbia pfg shirts. Sometimes they put up certain colors cheap and the did. $26 for a large https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00L2IYVS6?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image&th=1&psc=1 Quote
DaubsNU1 Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 I picked up some inexpensive long sleeve shirts from amazon...i think they were $19 for two. Pretty good quality, block the sun, comfy. Also found these at the Wal-Mart. Quote

We all bob our heads to music of a different beat. It’s what makes life grand. I don’t consider cost in an internet discussion-anymore, the people are much too varied. If some of you woke up and found only my money in your bank account, you would jump out of a window. Quote
