Lure Jerk Bait, But Texas rigged 3/8 worm or creature always with me on my 804C with 40lb braid to 16lb F leader. 2/0 or 3/0 Gami hook. I can fish it all year and catch on it.

Texas rigged game hawg in blue craw color is my go to always have it rigged up caught 3 of my 5 largest bass on it.
