Do you use on fluorocarbon line?

If so how often?

I have only used it on braid to make it quieter.

I use KVD on everything but braid. In my experience, it 'relaxes' the line leading to less memory.

A good 'soak' as I spool up the line, then a few spritzes the night before I go out.

Put it on while spooling and the night before every outing.

Note…

If you put it on during a trip, give it time to dry before throwing

I don't use line conditioner. I suppose that's one of the reasons I used to hate fluorocarbon line. I found InvizX by Seaguar, and now I'm happy with no conditioner. If I really needed to use conditioner, I would have stayed away from fluoro line permanently.   jj

It’s one of those things that’s not necessarily necessary if you use a quality product.
I use all Sunline and Tatsu flouro and use it anyway.

I never have used any . Maybe I dont know what I'm missing out on .

I know it definitely helps when I have YZH on a spinning rig - I can tell the difference.

Also seems to help with stiffer FC's - I've got AbrazX on one BC rig.

Amen to that! Every spool gets a refresh before each outing. It does make a difference. FWIW, I use Sunline Sniper on every reel that doesn't carry braid.

2 additional things….
When putting it on while spooling,

I found that you’ll use less, and it goes on more evenly throughout the spool by reeling the line through a soaked old nylon.

I use it also to wipe down my reels and clean the guide inserts.

I use disposable dry wipes that I get from Amazon - but the same principle.

I also use them when cleaning reels, rods, etc...just change what I dampen them with.

This^ I also spritz the guides. It makes my FC behave and have way less memory. The KVD conditioner isn't greasy like some. Little shot and you're good for all day ?

I use KVD Line and Lure on everything. I also use it for tying knots instead of using saliva or water.

I'm NOT light with it. I really spray it good. I like when the line on my spool is still oily and damp with it when I fish. It's superbly manageable and flies off the reel.

That works good too

I like using her nylon’s only because the juice doesn’t get absorbed in it and I use a lot less for the same effect.

My wife doesn't wear nylons - so I can't 'salvage' them from her.

Thanks for the replies from those of you who use it.  Also thanks for the extra application tips.  I think I will put some on my Yozuri and see how I like.  I will also give some fluorocarbon a shot.

Im also a kvd L&L believer. I'm not a fluorocarbon user but I use alot of copolymer and mono. It works miracles on cheap mono like big game. Is it necessary? Absolutely not...I fished years without it. But the performance and subsequent enjoyment difference make it worth the price of admission..IMO.

Not a fan of KVD line conditioner, I use Tangle Free and apply as needed while fishing.

All my reels gets couple squirts of KVD L & L no matter what they're spooled with just prior to a trip.

KVD line and lure gets sprayed on everything I own except braid. It just works. Make less memory and relaxes the line. I use it religiously.

I use it flourocarbon before every outing. Unsure it does anything
