Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with this rod and had any input. Stout enough for like a wacky hook hookset? or really only finesse dropshot mosquito hook type deals? Just wondering if the ML casting is a bit stouter than a ML spinning.

Which zodias are we talking about? I have the old gen not newest one in ML 3/16-1/2oz. It is fine for wacky rig hook set or even Senko/light Texas rig. The tip is soft but there is plenty of backbone. I use mind a lot for dropshot and any weightless worm including fluke and wacky rig.

I looked at the Zodias ML rods and they looked well made, felt right for a ML then noticed Made In China in white bold letters printed on the rod blank at the split grip handle. Dropped it like a hot rock.

Yeah even Shimano expride that a lot give the

compliments and compare to even more expensive still made in China. Made in doesn’t mean everything come from China, though. I hope at least material come from more reliable sources plus Shimano QC not China’s QC. For under 200 rods I really have no complain land still prefer this over some made in USA rods.
